1 July is tomorrow. We will reach the halfway mark in my forecast for the first of two years examined in my epic tome, Predictions 2015-2016. Most of this book’s prophecies were documented between 1 October 2014 and 5 January 2015. It is turning out to be one of the most accurate annual and bi-annual prophecy books since I began writing my yearly forecasts back at the end of 2004. What strikes me most are those presages my Oracle transmitted that put this author way out on a limb of credibility. For instance, who would have thought the riots of Ferguson Missouri last August would launch a national civil rights movement?
Consider another impossibility, “Obamacare” (i.e. Affordable Care Act) surviving a second trial at the US Supreme Court; or, that Iran and the United States might agree to terms for a nuclear deal and then forge on to put it in writing; or that after an uprising in Congress that voted down the TPP bill, it actually is passing. Could anyone imagine back in the first week of January 2015 that Greece, right now, would actually be one step away from doing Grexitgeddon, that is, leaving the EU monetary union by popular vote?
Consider the following hot topics of today foreseen accurately more than a half a year ago.
DATELINE: 30 June 2015
Will TPP Pass?
THE PREDICTION:
Corporate fascism is a multi-national creature. Its meddling in domestic American affairs is relatively minor compared with the secret power moves planned in 2015 on the international front. I imagine very few of the people reading this are even aware of the global coup d’état in the works bent on disempowering all sovereign governments.
They want it kept secret from the human race behind a wall of your glad handing world leaders—especially President Obama—who intend to put two global trade agreements on a fast track to become international law with next to no one cognizant of what’s in these treaties. The first covers the Atlantic Rim of nations. It’s the Transatlantic Free Trade Agreement (TAFTA). It unites the economies of the United States with the European Union. The second grabs countries around the Pacific Rim. It’s called the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), otherwise known satirically by another sleight of acronym coined by political commentator and author Thom Hartmann, as the Southern Hemisphere Free Trade Agreement, or SHAFTA.
Yes, you read it right Mr. and Mrs. Citizens of the United States, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam. This acronym isn’t a Hogueism. SHAFTA [TPP] is going give you all the shaft, right up your national sovereignty.
I predict that SHAFTA [TPP] and TAFTA are merely covers, seemingly benign storefronts for corporations cinching their control as a law above national and international law. If these agreements pass, your governments will truly no longer be for, by or of the people. The world’s nations will be ruled by super-mafia cartels. From 2015 onwards, observe how a trade deal that most US Congressmen and women won’t read beyond its title will let the finely tuned print endow multinational corporations with legal powers under the guise of protecting “free trade.” They will begin subverting sovereign laws either protecting the environment from pollution or those in future that might be enacted locally and internationally to curtail greenhouse gas emissions trying to put to an end a looming global climate catastrophe. Your sovereign land and labor rights will be taken away all around the world. Your right to buy and sell products and employ their manufacture locally can be sued and suppressed by free trade courts who say your local businesses deny, let’s say, a sweatshop in China or Indonesia from selling you cheaper costing, cheaper quality goods.
…Barack Obama has worked towards giving us a good, fast-tracking SHAFTA. It, like TAFTA and TPP, will be signed into law faster than you can scream “Patriot Act.”

ASSESSMENT
Remember, it was just a little while ago, in the last stream of Hogueprophecy articles posted on 15 June (click on Trans-Pacific Trade Agreement), that I cautiously reported the hope that my Oracle would get it all wrong. I hoped that Obama’s fast track powers wouldn’t be railroaded through the Senate and ratified by the House of Representatives faster than you could scream “Patriot Act!” On Friday 12 June, the anti-TPP legislators in the House of Representatives gathered enough support to take TPP to a good TP-ing like it was your High School’s principal’s house on Halloween. They voted it down.
I cautioned all to hold your apocalyptic horsemen, saying, “Democracy won a battle but the war against the TPP, with its very secret agenda that even legislators aren’t allowed to read, goes on. There are already moves being made in Congress to find other deal sweeteners to pull more swing Democrat votes to pass TPP. There’s still nearly seven months left in this year before Congress becomes pretty useless when the Presidential Election campaign season pretty much wastes the year 2016 for getting anything done.
“I hope to celebrate TPP’s true demise by New Years. Up until then, the following caveat prediction remains active and you all ought to keep up your watch-dogging of your legislators in Washington…:
“‘I prophesy an end of governments as the pinnacle of the pyramid of power in the world starting in 2015. With the signing of SHAFTA and the EU-US trade agreements, your governments will have surrendered their independence. The only good I can derive from this tragedy is that it might get your attention after it happens and you might take your sovereign government and freedoms back by whatever means available.’”
Well now, look how quick TPP fortunes changed! As quick as screaming “Patriot Act!!” if you think how slow legislation lurches on Capitol Hill. Just a dozen days after 12 June, the political intrigue-makers sweetened the deal here and bartered there, dividing and mollifying the opposition, the House passed TPP back to the Senate for a vote on a TPP-lobbyist tinkered new edition of TPP. You can go and read elsewhere all the hoops jumped and hoopla. What’s important to my Oracle is that you notice how what was considered by the same pundits very difficult to overrule on 12 June and would take many months of infighting was passed 12 days later by the Senate with 60 Yea votes and 38 “Nay” votes with two Senators abstaining.
Obama will now get his fast-track bill sent to his desk in the Oval Office and he will sign it into law. He’ll have the power to negotiate this secretive free trade agreement only requiring a straight up or down vote from the US Senate and only after a token time for debate is given—just 80 seconds per Senator. (Yes, f-a-a-a-s-t!) Faster than crap though a goosed corporate lobbyist.
Remember NAFTA? President Clinton got the same fast track deal and made Ross Perot a prophet as jobs got down the drain to Mexico:
We have got to stop sending jobs overseas. It’s pretty simple: If you’re paying $12, $13, $14 an hour for factory workers and you can move your factory South of the border, pay a dollar an hour for labor,…have no health care—that’s the most expensive single element in making a car— have no environmental controls, no pollution controls and no retirement, and you don’t care about anything but making money, there will be a giant sucking sound going south.
…when [Mexico's] jobs come up from a dollar an hour to six dollars an hour, and ours go down to six dollars an hour, and then it’s leveled again. But in the meantime, you’ve wrecked the country with these kinds of deals.

At least today when you find your jobs outsourced in the next great flush you can clean yourself off with a drum “roll” of TPP and much worse. If Japan and New Zealand ratify it, the following list of corporate seizures of power and free speech threatened are much worse than NAFTA, so reports The News Hub:
“There are many parts to the bill beyond the free trade sections. For instance, the bill strengthens intellectual property laws so copyrights can be enforced while they are still pending. Also, corporations gain the power to challenge any law that would damage their future profits. Access to prescription drugs would be limited as generic drugs would be removed from US pharmacies. Finally, no expiration date is set on TPP, which means that once it’s here, it’s here to stay.
“Countries included in TPP are the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Peru, Chile, Malaysia, and Brunei. Other countries, including China and South Korea, have shown interest in joining the agreement.
“Demonstrations against TPP/TPA have taken place in the United States and New Zealand, among others, but public awareness of the bills were low until recently due to the secrecy of TPP’s creation and a lack of exposure in mainstream media.”
“Many senators, including Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Rand Paul, have spoken out in opposition of TPP. All three of them voted “nay” during Wednesday’s Senate vote.”
Contact your US Senators folks, save your country’s sovereignty. Tell them to vote no on ratifying TPP or you’ll vote no in the next election to your Senator keeping his or her job.

Hogue Grexit Prophecy
On the Verge of being Fulfilled?
THE PREDICTION:
By the time this book is released, in late April 2015, we’ll all know whether this prognostication has legs. The legs of 11 million people, that is—sons and daughters of Hellas, walking away from the tyranny of technocrats in Brussels and their bankers in Berlin who think that bailouts and crushing austerity measures generate the employment needed to defibrillate the moribund-beating heart of the Greek economy. My oracle over the years has presaged categorically that it can’t. That Greece has only one direction to go, a very hard path but the right path: leave the EU and leave the euro monetary union.
Sometimes you have to go through Hades, like Orpheus down into the underworld, rather than tarry at its abyss forever and let German bankers tie you to Pluto’s mountaintop where the German Eagle comes each day to eat out your liver, financially speaking. Time for Prometheus to take the terrible jump and like Orpheus, find a way in and out of hell.
As I write this inserted addition to the chapter on 5 January 2015, I perceive that in 20-day’s time from now a moment for jumping off Prometheus’ cliff for Greeks on 25 January comes.
A lack of support for the coalition government of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras forced him to hold snap elections. The anti-austerity Syriza Party led by Alexis Tsipras pledges to end the German-led austerity policies, demands a write down of the debt similar to what a devastated post-war Germany sought and received in 1953. Tsipras wants to boost employment, raise the minimum wage and end what he calls “the unreasonable and catastrophic austerity policies that have been visited on Greece these past few years.”
Samaras retorts that default, bankruptcy and an exit from the EU— otherwise Hogueishly defined by EU newspapers as a “Grexit”—would be the outcome.

The above passage was one of the last date-tagged entries into the final draft of this book. Twenty days 20 later, the anti-austerity Syriza Party led by Alexis Tsipras indeed did win. The Tsipras government pushed his promised agenda but hit a stone faced wall of German Bankers and EU leaders in Brussels with brussel sprouts for brains. They have this idea that you can drain money out of the Greek economy, disemploy half its people, hollow out pension funds, and somehow still grow a tax base that can pay off a huge national debt.
Now Tsipras will hold a referendum next Sunday and the Greek people will decide their course.
Nick V., one of my readers of Greek descent, has been corresponding ever since January about Greece’s progress towards fulfilling my Oracle’s vision. What seemed in January a long shot of Greek default and departure from the EU monetary union looks by early July like a solid possibility, to which Nick commented a few days ago:
NICK V.: On the Greece Front it looks like the Greeks are prepared to stand their ground and will not move and some sort of default is on the cards.
HOGUE: Yes, default is inevitable, I think.
NICK V.: I must congratulate you on your Greece predictions everything is turning out as suggested, hopefully the Greeks hold their nerve and reform themselves without the three horseman of the apocalypse EU, IMF and ECB.
HOGUE: What a great line! The Troika Three Horsemen of the Grexapocalypse! So satirically true. Hold those three horsemen! This referendum has become a judgment against the EU monetary Union. The people will speak. Greece is leaving, unless Brussels finds its heart, and stops sitting on its head and thinking with its collective Butt. They better, because the Greek people are gutsy enough to walk away, even if it means going to Hell to save their own national respect as a people.
NICK V.: It looks like your next coming predictions of potential world depression is also in the pipeline. When will the world ever learn.

HOGUE: Events are rapidly overtaking my ability to write little books about them. I will have to rely on what’s already been documented in 2015-2016 and other books, I think. These date the danger points of this current economic bubble’s fiat burst.
NICK V.: Early polls for the Greek referendum are predicting a yes vote however i am not to sure that a yes vote will be achieved.
HOGUE: I sense the Greek people have had enough of the EU. Freedom, despite the pain that’s coming, the economic hell unleashed, is better than being a debtor slave in a debtor’s prison.
Like I said a long time ago, my Oracle has been forecasting this departure of Greece for years:
Watch Russia and China come to Greece’s aid when it abandons the Euro Monetary Union between now and 2015. Russia will set up a naval base in Greece. Both Russia and China will shore up the Greek economy.

ASSESSMENT
Moscow and the Tsipras government have gravitated closer. Tsipras as a EU head of state has openly criticized the economic sanctions the EU and US have set against Russia over the Ukrainian crisis. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin is trying to route his new natural gas pipeline out of Turkey to the EU through Greece. Chinese officials have also had talks with Tsipras. I will predict that as soon as Greece leaves the EU, Russia will lift its counter sanctions on agriculture exports from Greece. This alone would be a siginificant act of aid for the Greek economy

Will the Affordable Care Act be Overthrown?
THE PREDICTION:
I do have some bad news for Republicans. You won’t overthrow Obamacare in 2015.

ASSESSMENT
Last Thursday, the US Supreme Court in a 6-3 decision upheld the right of an estimated 6.4 million ACA customers to get their health care subsidies through the Federal exchanges in predominantly Red-Republican ruled states that opted out of providing their own state exchanges. This legal ploy was yet another attempt by Republican legislators—now exceeding 50 tries—to eradicate Obamacare. If the Supreme Court had ruled in their favor, the loss of revenue from taking six million people’s healthcare away would have bankrupted the whole system, dragging down those predominantly blue-Democrat states that opted in to their own state exchanges.
Republican leaders in Congress promise to keep trying, yet I will say for the record that this Supreme Court ruling is a heavy blow to all future attempts. Not only do I predict overthrow of ACA is not happening in 2015, but it won’t happen in 2016 either, given that any legislative efforts in Congress are all but lost in the din of the presidential primaries and national elections.
Beyond that, I hold to what I’ve predicted even before Obama’s health care program was voted into law, that this “misshapen monster” I defined back in 2009 was not going to be rescinded. It can only be improved by both parties and the process towards making it work as a fully functional and cost effective healthcare system will take 20 years.

Will the Iranian Peace Deal Deadline be Extended?
THE PREDICTION: Fortunately, a Jupiter trine with Uranus begins an orb of influence at the end of February, going exact in early March remaining potent through the third week. This could be one of the best windows for problem solving awarded to Congress in 2015. An even better opportunity comes on 22 June when the trine engages again. March or June trines might mark a great success in bold diplomatic missions. Obama could bust us an unexpected (Uranian) “Nixon goes to China” move with an “Obama goes to Iran” mission to directly engage Tehran and resolve US-Iranian issues over their nuclear program. This trine will twice provide politicians around the world a moment to generate something happening that the politically minded rarely experience, a stroke of genius that ends deadlocks and solves long-standing world problems.

THE PREDICTION
I’ve been writing accurate forecasts about the dangers of a US war with Iran since the first edition was published in 2007 of Nostradamus: The War with Iran. Eight years ago what I warned then is even more pertinent now. Warmongers have the advantage, starting later this year, and not long after a peace deal may torturously lead to a delayed deadline after 30 June. Hashing out an agreement might stretch into September—very close to when the war stars begin shining most dire: September 2015.

ASSESSMENT
Both trines worked their positive magic enabling negotiators in Lausanne, Switzerland in March to agree to terms of the agreement and later in June the trine aided progress to write the agreement for signing in Vienna. The danger of an overextension of the treaty editing process far beyond the 7 July deadline looks doubtful to me. For one thing the US Senate has inserted itself forcefully into the international negotiations by setting a deadline to start debates on the Senate floor about ratification just two days later on 9 July.
This new phase, the phase of ratification both in Washington and Tehran, will be stymied by deadlocks that could extend this process into September and very close to the first wave of astrologically bellicose times. In short, the longer this takes the less likely there will be peace. Then, a great and catastrophic war with Iran comes next.
